Freeport-McMoRan证实巨资收购McMoRan和Plains

据华尔街日报报道，Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX)证实将收购McMoRan Exploration Co. (MMR)和Plains Exploration & Production Co. (PXP)。

Freeport表示，将以约69亿美元现金加股票收购Plains Exploration，以34亿美元现金收购McMoRan。Plains和Freeport目前已经持有McMoRan 21亿美元的净权益。

Freeport称，拟以每股50美元现金加股票收购Plains股份，较后者周二收盘价溢价39%。对于McMoRan的现金收购价为每股14.75美元，较其周二收盘价溢价74%。此外McMoRan股东还将获得每股1.15个单位的特权信托。
